1.) Is it safe to jump or dive into the pool from the ladder or any type of platform?

No. Under no circumstances should anyone jump or dive into the pool. Intex does not distribute any pools that are deep enough to allow such activity. Serious injury or death could result from failure to follow these rules.

2.) Is there another brand of ladder that can be used?

Yes, check with your local pool supply store. However, the following ladders were designed specifically for Intex pools.

All Intex ladders, 30", 36", 42", 48" and 52" can withstand up to 300 lbs per rung. (Or Step).

The 36" ladder should be used for the 30" and 36" height Easy Set Pools.
The 42" ladder should be used for the 42" height Easy Set Pool.
The 48" ladder should be used for the 48" height Easy Set Pool.
The 52" ladder should be used for the 52" height Easy Set Pool.
